Our First Place Winner of The Certified Media Placement Specialist Contest is David O:

Hi. I’m David Olson from west central Minnesota, land of the frozen chosen.  My wife, Patti, and I have been online marketing going on a year and one half now and have enjoyed some moderate success.  But, not the explosive, get me more deposit slips, kind of success we knew was possible in our business…until now.

Mary Gersten and the CMPS program is about to change all of that forever.  Our future is now only limited to the size of my WHY and how big I choose to dream.

Being rather a novice at the computer, it was sure great to hear a LIVE PERSON on the other end of the phone when I needed help or advice from the support or coaching staff.  They are not just there to answer questions, but, have called me to check my progress and hold me accountable to the action steps I need to be successful.  They are also quick to send a link that may be helpful or give suggestions on what should be the next plan of attack to move my business forward.

Not only have they all been FRIENDLY, but just as excited about my success as I am.  It gives an non confident, computer-phobic, person such as me, a piece of mind that the coaching and support staff is always there to help.

My future five years down the road, I feel, is still being charted.  I’m not exactly sure what my destination will be, but, it will be arrived at online and working with other like minded people.  It really doesn’t matter what business or businesses I end up with because the training, skills and media placement education that I’m receiving from Mary’s CMPS program will help me wherever God leads me.

Businesses that I’m in now and will be looking into in the future all need what is being taught by Mary Gersten and her staff.  By following these training steps AND utilizing them, the potential is endless.  More income to live the life of your dreams, more time freedom to be with family and friends and most of all the ability and the resources to make you community and word a better place to live by being able to volunteer, serve or promote organizations or causes that are close to your heart.  Yes, more time and money can do all that.

Probably the best tips or strategies I would give to newbies to the CMPS program is:

Read everthing and really soak it in.  Then read it again.

Follow things in order.  The system is set up that way for a reason and for your benefit.  Even if you’ve skimmed ahead and see a step you could do to get it out of the way, don’t.  You may be missing something.

Don’t worry about how fast you’re going.  You are not in a race with anyone.  Find the pace that is comfortable for you and keep focused.

Be VERY proud of yourself for what you are doing and for what you have accomplished.  Remember that a large number of people never make it to the point you are at.

My media placement methods are quite varied.  I have been using my auto-responder list, Viral URL, blogging, video marketing and Twitter.

Making a difference in my community is something I am already looking forward to.  I truly believe that we as a people have no right to complain about things that go on in our local areas or the world of we stand by and do nothing.  Involvement, either financially or by physically doing something, is imperative to change.  My wife and I are very active in the Minnesota Patriot Guard and also in the Right to Life movement.  These are just two of the organizations which we pray for, support and believe in.

Our Second Place Certified Media Placement Specialist of The Month Contest Winner is Scott C:

My Personal & Business Vision:

The encouraging success of my “flint knapping” and “arrowhead making” web sites in the past few months is just the beginning of my business adventures on the internet.  Over the next five years, my goal is to harness the power of the internet to build a network of knapping students, advanced flint knappers and collectors of stone tools across North America, as I build a specialized niche business which will provide all the creative and challenging work I wish to handle when I retire from the environmental engineering design career I have pursued over the past twenty years.

Most Important Business Strategy for CMPS Students:

Identify an endeavor for which you have great enthusiasm and harness that passion to create a niche market which you can serve and build … all while you are doing something which you love!  This is the really big concept which I have learned from the CMPS program.  The CMPS business development education has given me a number of coordinated tools which can be deployed to achieve this objective.

An e-Mail Marketing Campaign to Develop My Niche Market:

This media utilization example which I am submitting today illustrates an e-mail marketing campaign, utilizing my growing customer list composed exclusively of customers who have purchased the Beginner’s Flint Knapping Kit from my web sites.  These folks have previously ordered one or more of the Knapping Kit which provides them with instructions, tools and prepared stone pieces … everything they need to begin making stone arrowheads of their own.  I have built the e-mail list by creating an e-mail contact group which includes each new Knapping Kit customer, his or her e-mail address, mailing address for shipping products, and details recording their different purchases and communications with my business web sites.

The first Big Idea of the e-mail campaign is to capitalize on their continued interest and provide additional stone materials and tools with which they can continue their arrowhead making activities.  The initial Knapping Kit provides 12 stone pieces plus the tools which they need.  Most students use up the stone material in a week or two, and will soon need more material.

The second Big Idea of the e-mail campaign is to utilize clickable links to my PayPal shopping cart so that the e-mail reader can place immediate orders for the items offered.  This captures the purchases almost instantly and facilitates a secure order placement for the customer.  In addition to the multiple item shopping cart links, there are single item links for ordering through PayPal on an immediate, secure basis.

First things first, though.  The general subject of my niche market and my web sites is the craft called “Flint Knapping” which is, in broad terms, the production of stone tools and hunting weapons which were used by people all around the world prior to the discovery and mastery of metals.  My newest web site, www.Arrowhead-MakeYourOwn.com, has been on the internet since September 2008.  It has proven to be my most effective gateway or portal for bringing viewers/customers to my other web sites, www.StoneBreaker-FSC.com and www.StoneBreaker-FSC.net.   These web sites offer for sale a number of modern made stone implements, such as arrowheads, spear points, lance points and knife blades; plus some ancient and authentic arrowheads and spear points; all for collectors of modern and ancient stone tools.  The newer web site, www.Arrowhead-MakeYourOwn.com, shows how to begin making an arrowhead of stone and sells a “How To” booklet and also a “Beginning Knapper’s Kit” so interested customers can begin to make their own arrowheads.  The customers run the full gamut of interested folks, from youngsters and their parents and grandparents who want to learn about the outdoor skills of the American Indians, sometimes their direct ancestors, to retired gentlemen looking for a challenging and potentially profitable hobby.

To bring interested viewers and customers to my web sites, I have an ongoing campaign of keywords and sponsored searches on Google and Yahoo.  This is a pay-per-click campaign in which my advertising is offered on the search result pages of persons who have used Google and Yahoo to research and find information about flint knapping, arrowhead making and other related subjects.  Each click on my sponsored advertising connects directly to my associated web site, and is paid for at a low cost per click.

However, this e-mail marketing campaign example is directly related to a different side of the business:  it is a continuing business development tool used to build the relationship and purchases of materials and tools by my previous customers.  These proven customers will be the long term source of my business’s growth and strength.  By building an active communications system with them, I will work together with them to provide the materials they need to continue the development of their interest in learning about and making stone tools, and in turn, this will help my business grow and prosper.

Here, then, is an example of this e-mail campaign, which was sent out just this past weekend (January 24, 2009):

Greetings Once Again, New Arrowhead Makers & Flint Knapping Kit Users,

Since your recent purchase of the Beginner’s Knapping Kit from www.Arrowhead-MakeYourOwn.com, www.StoneBreaker-FSC.com or www.StoneBreaker-FSC.net, I imagine that you have probably used up the stone pieces in the introductory Knapping Kit.

What better thing is there for a new arrowhead maker than a good supply of stone to work?  Or a couple of new tools to help in the effort?  And who has time to go wandering all over the country side looking for stone, especially during the winter months?

So, I would like to extend several special offers, for selections of stone pieces the right size for making arrowheads, and a couple of useful tools.  These will prove to be very timely and useful as you continue your arrowhead making activities:

36-count Arrowhead Maker’s Flint & Obsidian Pack. This package contains a mix of Texas Flint, Arkansas Novaculite, Oregon Obsidian and Oregon Dacite pieces the right size for making Arrowheads.  It gives you about 1.5 pounds of stone pieces.  Just $24.95 plus $9.60 Priority Mail (total = $34.55 ea.).  To place an individual order for the 36-count Arrowhead Maker’s Flint & Obsidian Pack, click this PayPal Buy Now link: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=2313916

To add the 36-count Arrowhead Maker’s Flint & Obsidian Pack to the StoneBreaker-FSC.com multiple item “Shopping Cart” securely through PayPal, so you can add other items to the same order, click this link:    https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=2385547

$20.01 to $30.00  –  $9.60

Robust 6″ Pressure Flaking Tool. This more robust pressure flaker is made of a 7/8″ tough structural Nylon handle which is 6″ long, with 2 set screws and a 1/8″ Allen wrench which are used to lock in a 3/16″ copper nail.  This tool will last for many years, and is very useful in pressure flaking almost any knapping material.  The best way to keep the tool tip in good shape is to take out the copper nail and hammer the tip to a four-sided point about 1/4 to 1/2″ in length.  Just keep it cleaned with a file, but don’t do the major shaping with a file.  This uses up the copper too fast.  Hammering hardens and strengthens the working point and does not consume the metal.  This pressure flaker set includes three (3) 4″ x 3/16″ copper nails for future use.  Simply cut off the head of the nail to insert it into the handle.  The cost for the set is $16.95 each, plus shipping.

Add an order for the Robust 6″ Pressure Flaking Tool Set to your Shopping Cart securely through PayPal by clicking on this link:  https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=2385758

Dual-Sided Abrader Block. This dual-sided abrader is just right for edge grinding in pressure flaking work, with two different grit surfaces.  The abrader block measures 2″ x 4″ x 1″ thick.  The cost is $4.00 each, plus shipping.

Add an order for the Dual-Sided Abrader Block to your Shopping Cart securely through PayPal by clicking on this link:   https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=2385793

Buffalo Hide Hand Pad. Made of genuine Buffalo (American Bison) hide, measuring 3″ x 5″.  This is a very tough skin and will provide plenty of protection as well as padding for pressure flaking work in your hand.  They last much longer than cow hide.  The Buffalo Hand Pad is available in single thickness or in a permanently bonded double thickness.  The single thickness pad is $4.50 each; and the double thick pad is $9.50 each, plus shipping.

72-count Mega Pack of Arrowhead Maker’s Stone. This package contains a mix of Texas Flint, Arkansas Novaculite, Oregon Obsidian and Oregon Dacite pieces the right size for making Arrowheads.  It gives you about 3 pounds of stone pieces.  Just $49.95 plus $14.40 Priority Mail (total = $64.35 each).  To place an individual order for the 72-count Mega Pack of Arrowhead Maker’s Stone, click this PayPal Buy Now Link:  https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=2312167

Thanks again for your interest in making arrowheads and flint knapping.  Don’t forget to reply with your feedback about your arrowhead making activities and photos if you want to share them on the www.Arrowhead-MakeYourOwn.com new flint knappers’ activity page.

p.s. Thank you to the folks who have sent in photos of their new arrowheads.  I see excellent creativity and imagination at work.  Soon I will have a new flint knappers’ bragging page on www.Arrowhead-MakeYourOwn.com so we can all see what is being done by new knappers across the country.
______________________________________

The following is an unpaid commercial message from my flint knapping business enterprise:
You are welcome to visit my new website for New Stone Age arrowheads, spear heads, lance points, knife blades, etc. To take a trip back in time to the New Stone Age, simply click on this link or copy and paste it into to your web browser:
http://www.stonebreaker-fsc.net

This e-mail letter is the second in the campaign.  The first, on January 10, 2009, generated hundreds of dollars in sales of stone materials and tools.  Plus, I have received several photographs which the new knappers have submitted to be included on the “bragging page” on www.Arrowhead-MakeYourOwn.com.   In the next few weeks this page will be added to my web site, and it will grow as more new photographs are provided.  This gives my customers a way to personally participate in the growth of my niche business network.  It also gives me feedback on how they are doing and a way to enhance and improve my business ideas and products.

The PayPal buy now links are set up through my PayPal business account.  You can do the same for an e-mail campaign or use them on your web sites.  PayPal generates the code for each product for a single-item direct purchase or for adding an item to a multiple-item Shopping Cart.  This has proven very beneficial, both to me as a business and to my customers. Family & Business Activities of Benefit to Our Community:

Here at our north Dallas area home this year, we are providing a “Home Stay” residence for an international college student, from Hong Kong, going to school here in the Dallas area.  In addition, we had several Asian college students from the University of Texas at Dallas over to our home for a Chinese New Year’s dinner this past weekend.  So, from that standpoint, our family’s community extends half way around the world, and hopefully we are making a positive contribution and impact which will have a lasting effect.

As far as contributing to my business community, on January third, I had an arrowhead making class with a man and his 11 year-old son, who drove up from Austin to spend several hours learning to break stone in a beneficial manner.  And then a retired gentleman from east of Dallas came by to pick up new flint knapping kit materials and to compare notes about making flint knife and spear points.  He watched the last hour or so of the knapping class and began to see what is involved in making arrowheads.  Since then, I received a very complimentary e-mail from the class participants, who were busily making more arrowheads at home in Austin.  I provided them some local sources for additional knapping tools and cut stone, as I do not personally have the equipment to make the stone slabs which they wanted to use as source material for some knapping projects.

As I say on the web sites, I appreciate the opportunity to share my flint knapping craft with intelligent and curious people around the world who are interested in preserving one of the important skills of the past and in enjoying the beauty of the natural stone materials utilized by our ancestors for many thousands of years in all corners of the world.

Bottom line, on all this discussion, is this:  identify an endeavor for which you have great enthusiasm and harness that passion to create a niche market which you can serve and build … all while you are doing something which you love!  That is the really big concept which I am continuing to learn and master through the application of principles which are available to you through the CMPS program.

Sincerely,

F. Scott Crawford

p.s.  I have attached a 3-minute video presentation of some of the marketing concepts which are used in the deployment of my web sites, showing Google search results, links between related web sites, pages from the web sites, the specialized publications promoted on the web sites, and, of course, “product as hero” photographs of some knapped arrowheads, spear points, knife blades and other implements which are offered for sale on my web sites.  Turn the music up and enjoy!

Our Third Place Contest Winner Jarone’s Entry:

I am unable to go ALL OUT like I would like to, and put up a video explaining my reason for why I believe I should be the student of the month, but I promise this will be just as good.  I started with this program almost two weeks ago now.  When I first read about Mary Gersten’s CMPS program, I was immediately attracted to the information that I was presented.  I typed in my information, but couldn’t get started at that moment.  Over a few months I had received many e-mail’s as well as one enveloped mail from the Global Cashflow Network.  I knew that this was something I absolutely had to do after reading up on the company.  When I finally was able to get going just a couple weeks ago, I felt that I was definitely making the proper steps towards achieving my future goals!  Now all I have to do is complete the simple steps to success that have already been laid out for me.  This program has great mentors/coaches, and the right tools provided for each member to maximize our chances for success.

I am currently working on a 30 day plan of action that will then turn into a 90 day plan of action.  With this road map, I plan on accomplishing much in the CMPS program.  Within the first 30 days, I will have completed my 14 step checklist and begun taking my business to the next level.  I will also have a domain name for my business.  Over the following 60 days, I will consistently write articles, make videos, and do blogs.  I will also have gotten started with one of the Ultimate Traffic System options.  The immediate 3 month goal is to generate between $3,000 and $5,000 a month after the 90 day plan of action.  I have a few other business ideas that I will begin to put into action after I’ve mastered the art of marketing online.  In 5 years or more, the CMPS program will have definitely helped me reach my goals!  Due to the skills I will have learned from the program, I will have multiple streams of income coming from the different on and offline businesses that I will develop.  This includes a marketing company that will teach people the importance of financial literacy and investing, and an entrepreneur focused t-shirt company.  These are only a couple examples of the different businesses I plan on growing in the coming years.  Offline, I want to start an organization called the “Young Entrepreneurs Society”.   We will mentor children and teach them about business ownership and managing their finances.  The idea is to get the kids to begin thinking outside of the box and dream BIG.  Then we will teach them how to take that dream and slowly but surely put in the action that will help them reach that dream.

A tip that I would give to other CMPS students is to make sure you plan and follow the given steps.  There is a formula that is proven, and if you use that to your advantage, then skies the limit.  Also make sure that you contact your coaches with any questions that arise.  That is what they are there for.  USE THEM!  The main thing is to act.  You do not want to procrastinate or commit analysis paralysis.

Since I’m recently getting going with the program, I have yet to actually write an article or anything of that nature.  I have read a few from the e zine articles web site to get an idea of how they are written.  What I have accomplished is writing my story on my 24 hour web cash site, and creating my electronic signature, which reads:

“Build a Business at Your Own Pace, and Reach the Success You’ve Always Wanted!  Get the Details Now: MAKE MONEY NOW”.

I do need to figure out how to make my link clickable though.  I’ve been having some difficulties with that, but it will get figured out shortly.  In all, I know that this program will get me where I want to be in this year and in life in general.

Our Second Place Winner for December’s Certified Media Placement Specialist Student of The Month Contest is F. Scott C. of Carrollton, Texas:

scottc-pic-10-2008

My Personal & Business Vision:
The encouraging success of my “flint knapping” and “arrowhead making” web sites in the past few months is just the beginning of my business adventures on the internet. Over the next five years, my goal is to harness the power of the internet to build a network of knapping students, advanced flint knappers and collectors of stone tools across North
America, as I build a specialized niche business which will provide all the creative and challenging work I wish to handle when I retire from the environmental engineering design career I have pursued over the past twenty years.

Example Campaign of Media Activities to Develop My Niche Market:
This media utilization example which I am submitting today illustrates a coordinated campaign utilizing one of my web sites, linking it with other interest-related web sites; designing, writing and producing the first edition of a periodical specialty publication related to the study of ancient styles of arrowheads which are of particular interest to flint knapping craftsmen and students and to collectors of arrowheads; writing and distributing a press release introducing this new publication; creating graphics for links which can be placed with other web sites to bring interested viewers to my web site for more information, etc.

First things first, though. The general subject of my niche market and my web sites is the craft called “Flint Knapping” which is, in broad terms, the production of stone tools and hunting weapons which were used by people all around the world prior to the discovery and mastery of metals. My newest web site, www.Arrowhead-MakeYourOwn.com, has
been on the internet since September 2008. The customers run the full gamut of interested folks, from youngsters and their parents and grandparents who want to learn about the outdoor skills of the American Indians, sometimes their direct ancestors, to
retired gentlemen looking for a challenging and potentially profitable hobby. However, this media campaign example is directly related to a different side of marketing: it is related to a specialty publication and the public relations campaign being used to promote and publicize the new educational publishing effort. To introduce the concept to a number of Indian artifact collector, flint knapper and rock and mineral collector websites, I produced the following Press Release: ‘For Immediate Release: ‘Today the flint knapping publisher, Arrowheads Ancient & Authentic, announced the introductory edition of AA&A Review, an on-going series of study documents providing students and practitioners of flint knapping with an analytical look at “Lithics Americana.”

‘The first edition, available by subscription and through the internet web site www.Arrowhead-MakeYourOwn.com, presents a visual and knapping-based review of particular “Pacific Northwest Techniques & Practices”, as revealed by a study of various aspects of the production of the well-known Gunther style arrowhead and the Elko style dart and arrowhead series.

‘The author points out that “from a flint knapping point of view, there are several things which can be learned about the practices of the native knappers in the Pacific Northwest by carefully observing the details evident in a collection of a few well made arrowheads.”

‘Some of these knapping procedures are evident to the careful observer, even if that observer is not a skilled flint knapper in his or her own right. ‘However, other stone tool production processes may only be discerned by the practiced eye, looking closely and carefully at the result of another person’s skilled effort through the glasses of experience and training. It is from this aspect that AA&A Review plans to present a number of carefully focused studies of different projectile points recovered around the country, to review the knapping details which can be instructive to the modern student of flint knapping, to inform and guide the efforts to master the ancient art of stone tool and weapon production.

‘The author, F. Scott C., began knapping arrowheads in the mid 1960’s as a teenager, after finding a wide variety of Indian arrowheads and other stone tools and implements on his family’s land in Linn County, Oregon. One of the points presented in “Pacific Northwest Techniques & Practices” is an agate Gunther or Calapooya style arrowhead which he found there in 1964.

‘In his own knapping work, Crawford has been applying what he learns from the study of such authentic points to the reproduction arrowheads which he provides as examples integrated into the Beginning Knapper’s Kits which he makes available to new students through his flint knapping web sites.

‘Those web sites are: www.StoneBreaker-FSC.com and www.StoneBreaker-FSC.net and www.Arrowhead-MakeYourOwn.com. ‘Arrowheads Ancient & Authentic is Crawford’s internet web site design and publishing venture, based in Carrollton, Texas.

Family & Business Activities of Benefit to Our Community:
Here at our north Dallas area home this year, we are providing a “Home Stay” residence for an international college student, from Hong Kong, going to school here in the Dallas area. So, from that standpoint, our family’s community extends half way around the world, and hopefully we are making a positive contribution and impact which will have a
lasting effect.

As far as contributing to my business community, this very week I am teaching a knapping class to a man and his son, who are driving up from Austin to spend several hours learning to break stone in a beneficial manner. And then a retired gentleman from east of Dallas is coming by to pick up new flint knapping kit materials and to compare notes about making flint knife and spear points.

Sincerely,
F. Scott C.

Our Third Place Winner for our December Contest is Lori L. of Indiana:

When I first discovered the CMPS Program and Global Cash Flow Network, I was a little skeptical after getting burned so many times on other online adventures. I further researched Global Cash Flow Network and decided to take a “leap of faith”. I am so glad I did. Global Cash Flow Network backs up their guarantees. I have had nothing but good experiences with the CMPS Program and every and any media coaches I have dealt with at GCFN.

I was “jumping for joy” when I got my 1st and 2nd check and was only enrolled in the program for three weeks.

Since I have been with the CMPS program, I have started setting some goals and have increased my confidence level with my inner self.

With this program, there are many resources for answers to any questions you may have when starting up this program.

My tip for submitting a press release:

  1. Make sure your information is correct and current.
  2. Make sure you researched your topic on the internet thoroughly.
  3. Try out Free Press Releases first as a new CMPS and then work your way up to more upgraded media advertising.
  4. Don’t over use your e-mail, website name, or telephone number. I think using your e-mail, website name, telephone number only at the end of Press Release is appropriate.

My goal within the next two years is resign my full time job and work at home as a

CMPS to work my way to financial freedom and happiness.

During my retirement years, I will still be working with GCFN.

I heard this quote and want to pass it on to others, “Don’t dream your life, live your dream.”

Why should I be chosen as CMPS Student of the Month?

I have been in this program only three months. I have encountered some hurdles while in the training portion with GCFN. Within the first 2 months of enrollment, I was plagued with 3 viruses while maintaining to complete the CMPS checklist.

I feel that I have the potential to become a GREAT CMPS and will continue to work hard while working another full time job and as a mother of a seven year old.

Congratulations to Jen E. Our Certified Media Placement Specialist of The Month Constest Winner for November:

Jen’s Entry:
It is so funny.  I had all these dreams about making a difference in people’s life and doing something fundamental to impact a large number of people.
My previous vision (July 2008) to “I want to start a company to offer tools to elevate people from their basic needs (such as food, water, and shelter) to self actualization where they want to contribute to society in a green, environmentally friendly way.  This would reach across all cultures and continents.” Is coming true!!
Because of the teachings, advice, and support I am learning first hand the power of positive thinking. I went searching for amazing people to interview for my business Kids’ Keys To Success and after a brief conversation I was asked to help build an amazing non-profit called Inspire A Child For Life.  This organization has lofty goals with the means to accomplish it.
I have met and been inspired by so many people though using the program Mary and her team developed.  I was recently asked to help organize and find donors because of my “persuasive marketing skills”!  Funny… I didn’t even know what marketing really was before The Certified Media Placement Specialist Program!  Now I am spearheading a brilliant non-profit to attract donors!
So, my next vision for my life and my business is to continue to grow and fulfill my dreams to support the advancement of others - from struggling to fulfilling their dreams. And, I now have the vehicle to do that!
I still want to fulfill my goals to pay off my home and send my children to the school of my dreams. I know it will soon happen because every day I am taking one step closer to achieving it.  CMPS provided the tools, I have the determination, and I know I will realize it!
My best tip/strategy I have learned from the Certified Media Placement Specialist Program is to really use the program.  Pretend it is your playground and have lots of fun with it.  Don’t hold back, try all the components of the “play set”, even if something scares you.  Remember the “play gound” was made to be safe and used.  Trust in it like I did.
Now it is your responsibility to really “play”, learn, stretch, and even sometimes fall and stumble.  Just like a supportive and loving parent, CMPS wants us to grow and reach beyond what we think we are capable of all while supporting and providing the tools to do so.
I am so grateful I signed up to try GCFN and did something outside of my comfort zone.  It has become the foundation to trusting myself, learning new things, and really making my life the best it can be.
Examples of the work I accomplished through the support and tools offered to me are my bloglanding page, sales letter, and “Parenting LEVERAGE” program.  (I am too excited to just post one thing…because I have been so blessed!)
Contributing to my community has been an amazing experience.   The belief in me expressed by Mary and the Certified Media Placement Specialist Team helped me gain confidence I am now channeling into giving others.  My excuse before was, “I am too busy”. But because I have been so energized and my positive attitude has attracted so many opportunities, I now volunteer to make blankets and collect books for children in need, create bulletin covers for my church, volunteer in my daughter’s classroom each week, volunteer and provide content for Inspire A Child For Life and I have even, created a free forum to help network and funnel traffic to our blogs.
I know these blessings of “opportunity to give” have been more meaningful to me than those receiving the final product.  Thank You Global Cash Flow Network for doing what you said you would do and actually giving more than I could have ever expected or dreamed of.

Our first runner up for November’s CMPS Student of the Month Contest is Sharon M:

Sharon M.

What I Want to Accomplish with the CMPS Program

And Where I Would Like to be in 5 Years

Accomplishment with the CMPS Program

Flexible Work Hours at Home

I desire to work around my family responsibilities and appointments away from home by having flexible work hours. While working the CMPS program at home, I also realize the need to establish regular daily work hours when I close my office door, rev up the computer, and focus on the tasks at hand. Therefore, I see the CMPS program and a way to balance a work schedule with personal responsibilities.

Work at Home and Away From Home

My husband and I live in his home state of Alabama while my family members live in New Mexico. I have a strong desire to be able to visit family and friends every couple of months in New Mexico. With my laptop in tow with all the CMPS materials and the worldwide web, I can demonstrate this flexibility working from where ever I am. I welcome the ability to take my laptop on vacation so I can check on the business front from various locations.

Financial Freedom

I see the CMPS program helping me sharpen my media placement skills and providing ongoing tips on the latest strategies to propel me to generate an abundant income. In proportion to my mastery of the program, I look forward to my cash flow steadily increasing as I travel on the path to financial independence.

Philanthropy

As I achieve financial freedom, I will donate to various agencies and programs that help children and families with special needs such as United Way through a foundation I have set up. I will set up trust funds for my grandchildren instructing them to pay it forward by being aware of and donating to causes of their choice.

My 5 Year Plan

In 5 years after completing the CMPS program and applying the strategies outlined, I will have accomplished financial freedom. I will be writing and promoting e-books related to strengthening families, working from home, travel. My husband and I will be traveling every few months taking family members with us to domestic and foreign locations. We will have developed our farm and built our dream house on the property.

My Contribution to the Community:

How I Can Make a Difference

Our farm is located a couple of miles from Old Kingston and Posey Crossroads in rural Alabama. The majority of families have television sets but not computers. The public school system is providing some computers with tax dollars for students to use during school hours. But many students and their families do not have home PCs or laptops.

I want to pilot a computer literacy program in our neighborhood. The program would be funded by a charitable foundation I set up for this purpose. Children and adults can participate. One of the requirements of the program is that the participant needs to work a certain number of hours of community service based on community needs. The participants will also be required to write an article on the topic of this article: Your Contribution to the Community: How You Can Make a Difference as related to the participant having a computer.

Our next runner up for the November’s Certified Media Placement Specialist of The Month Contest is John S:

John S.

The vision I have for myself and with the CMPS program is to learn how to make cash!

I can see myself making at least $10,000 a month with this program, paying off my bills,
buying a new 5 bedroom house with an entertainment room, a billiard table, a big screen plasma
tv in a movie theatre that sits 20 people, I have a lake on my property that has an abundance
of fish. I will take my boat out on the lake every morning before I place more media.

In the next 5 years, I see myself as having my own product of ebooks and membership that has
a big list of subscribers.  Many people will want to do joint ventures with me because my
book is very popular.  I see Oprah calling me and asking me to explain how I attracted wealth
and abundance in this time of economic down turn.

I will tell her, what we get is what we ask for.  I will keep a special place for the CMPS
program and remember to pay it forward.

My best tip would be to get yourself your own blog and a few domain names that link to the blog.
Link your blog to the cmps site and back and forth.  Place classifieds in all the free online
ads.  Write an article and link to your site in the resource area. Put googleadsense on all your blogs.

The methods I used was to create a few blogs and purchase a few domain names that I linked
to the blog and to the cmps 24 hour sites.  My websites are www.workonlinedad.com, www.workonlinedad.info,
www.workonlinedad.org, www.workonlinedad.net, www.floridarvpeople.com.  Another method I used
was to place online classifieds with www.military.com, www.oodle.com, and americamall. I also
linked off my football site www.sec-football-schedule.com (my passion), I also wrote 3 articles in ezinearticles.com

If you do a search in google with keywords work online dad, I have the #1 spot.

If you do a search in google with keywords florida rv people, I have the #1 spot.

If you do a search in yahoo with keywords work online dad, I have the # 1, 2, and 4 spot.

If you look at my numbers for direct hits, I started on Oct 15 with 255 hits now I have 2365 as of Dec. 2.

Still waiting for some checks to start coming in.  If I get a 2% conversion rate that will be at least 45 sales.
But, I think your sales team is a bit better than that. So maybe 10%?

I made a few You Tube inspirational videos that placed my website name on an ending title slide
at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nazoX8ysRFI and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlvFZqHOUaY

These are very primitive but, effective.

One of the things that really helped was Mary’s webinars and the free make your own website information
from Erik Stafford, and Joshua Shafron

Oh! did I tell you I have only been with the program 8 weeks now.

May abundance and prosperity be with you all,

John S

Here’s his submission on success with the CMPS Program:

Here is a list of all the people who placed orders on my web site in the year before I took the GCFN Certified Media Placement Specialist study program:

Here is a list of the people who placed orders on my web sites in the last three months, after I took the GCFN Certified Media Placement Specialist study program:

T. Button, F. Parker, I. Cameron, T. Dillon, T. Reed, J. Barnes, J. Helton, P. Orr, K. Peek, A. Swayngim, J. Merrill,T. DuFault, R. Williams,A. Layton, B. Franklin, C. Pike, M. Powell, D. Matros, D. Butte, K. Leavesley, L. Crompton, T. Williams, L. Igoe, L. Kelley, L. Brownfield, W. Hill, J. Rine, D. Barry, N. Payne, W. Lassiter, L. Burkhalter, S. Scott

The encouraging success of my “flint knapping” and “arrowhead making” web sites in the past few months is just the beginning of my business adventures on the internet.Over the next five years, my goal is to harness the power of the internet to build a network of knapping students, advanced flint knappers and collectors of stone tools across North America as I build a specialized niche business which will provide all the creative and challenging work I wish to handle when I retire from the environmental engineering design career I have pursued over the past twenty years.

COORDINATING SEARCH ENGINES FOR KEYWORDS & CONTENT LINKED TO MY WEB SITES

One of the important concepts which I have learned from the CMPS program includes the coordinated use of “Keyword Searches” on the major internet search engines, such as Google and Yahoo, in conjunction with “Pay Per Click” advertising on Google AdWords Campaigns and Yahoo Internet Business Ad Group Campaigns. These low-cost advertising campaigns are designed to bring interested potential customers to my websites. When an interested person sees his requested keyword or subject search results from Google or Yahoo, he has the opportunity to select from a number of related subject advertisements which are written to encourage a reader to click on the ad’s link and thus go to the associated web page for further information about the subject desired by the viewer. These listing responses are only charged to my business when a viewer “clicks” on the link to come to my website. I control the amount of the individual click charge by the previously agreed “bid amount” or price which I am willing to pay to the search engine for each click which is made to link to my website. This is called “Pay Per Click.” In setting up of the advertising process with the search engine I have agreed to pay up to a certain amount for each click. The more I am willing to pay per click, the higher position I receive on the search results page which the potential customer receives from the search engine when he searches for a keyword or subject. The quality of the advertising and the quality of my websites also affects the positioning of my information on the search results pages which are offered to the viewer. I am happy to say that 3 of my related websites are now often listed 1, 2 and 3 on the search results pages for Google and Yahoo. These websites are also written and produced in a way which links the sites together, bringing the readers from one website to the other and vice versa. All of this focuses the new customer onto the best sources for the information and the items for which he or she is searching. Sometimes a buying decision can be made at the first website, or that site can serve as a gateway to more information and selling activities at the other site. Learning the concepts of how to crosspromote and cross-link my websites, in conjunction with harnessing the precision of Pay Per Click advertising, all from the CMPS course, has been instrumental in my internet business progress over these past few months.

BUILD A NICHE BUSINESS BY FOCUSING THE POWER OF THE INTERNET TO DELIVER INTERESTED CUSTOMERS WHO WANT TO LEARN ABOUT MY CRAFT

I have three subject-related websites:
www.StoneBreaker-FSC.com
www.StoneBreaker-FSC.net

www.Arrowhead-MakeYourOwn.com

The general subject is the craft called “Flint Knapping” which is in broad terms the production of stone tools and hunting weapons which were used by people all around the world prior to the discovery and mastery of metals. My original web site is www.StoneBreaker-FSC.com which was created in 2007. It was produced with an introductory level website program which is difficult to modify. Though it looks o.k., I was not happy with being unable to easily update and change the web site, so I created a second site with a more powerful design program; and, not wanting to destroy the momentum of the .com site, I named the second site www.StoneBreaker-FSC.net. This site has been much more satisfactory for regular updating and adding new items. This is the site which I have linked to my primary advertisements running on Google AdWords and Yahoo Ad Groups. This new site was created after taking the CMPS course, and was encouraged by the new found knowledge and creative and marketing confidence which I developed through the course. Working through Google AdWords, I have several Text Advertisements running in rotation to be shown to viewers as a result of keyword or content searches, plus a couple of Image Advertisements which show a photograph of my product with a link to the web site. Google Adwords Text Advertisements: Flint Knapper’s Website Stoneage point styles, spaceage craft. For your modern collection. www.StoneBreaker-FSC.net Flint Knapper’s Arrowheads Ancient arrowhead styles, modern craftsmanship. Variety on sale now, www.StoneBreaker-FSC.net Flint Knapping Ancient arrowhead styles, modern craft. Wide variety for sale now. www.StoneBreaker-FSC.net Arrowheads–Make Your Own See our new website, get full info to make your own stone arrowhead. www.Arrowhead-MakeYourOwn.com
Arrowheads–Easy To Learn Making your own arrowheads is easy with full info from a new web site. www.Arrowhead-MakeYourOwn.com Yahoo Ad Groups Advertisements: Flint Knapping–Mastery of Stone Points So easy that cavement did it, for thousands of years! Now a modern art. www.StoneBreaker-FSC.net Flint Knapping–40% Off Weekly Special Each week a different arrowhead or spearpoint offered at 40% discount. www.StoneBreaker-FSC.net These advertisements utilize a number of the keywords which I have sponsored through both the Google Adwords and Yahoo Ad Groups search mechanisms. When an internet reader runs a search for any of my keywords, one of these advertisements will be shown at or near the top of the first page of his search results. On both search machines my number one keyword is “flint knapping”. For example, Google keyword search results reported in mid- September that, for “flint knapping”, my “click Scott Crawford and Ying Yan Ma, (Maggie), on their honeymoon in Macau, China in 2005. through rate” was 3.02%, which means that out of 16,232 viewer impressions during the period from May 28, 2008 until mid-September, 491 persons clicked on my advertisement on their search results listings. These people were then brought directly to my web site, StoneBreaker-FSC.net, to continue their research on “flint knapping”. Here they can learn about the craft of flint knapping, and view and purchase modern made stone arrowheads, spear and lance points and knife blades. My newest web site, www.Arrowhead-MakeYourOwn.comhas only been on the internet since September 1, 2008, yet already it has proven to be my most effective gateway for bringing viewers/customers to the other web sites, www.StoneBreaker-FSC.net and www.StoneBreaker-FSC.com. This new site also sells a revised version of the “How To” brochure about “How To Make Your Own ARROWHEAD” which serves as the instructions in my introductory Flint Knapping Beginner’s Kit. This kit is sold on the new www.Arrowhead-MakeYourOwn.com web site and also on both of the other two knapping sites. Combining new text advertisements for this web site which run on both Google and Yahoo search results, with a new set of keywords, is also getting excellent results. That is the really big concept which I have learned from the CMPS program.

Our second runner up is Mercedes B:

My vision is very simple yet powerful. I see myself motivating others to believe in themselves and their dreams. As I begin to move forward with this program, I am finding that it is not just about a business but also about you as a person and your inner self worth. All you have to do is recognize the seriousness of the program and follow through.

The best advice I have to offer thus far is straightforward; do not take this program for granted. Follow the instructions and let them guide you to where you want to go. Remember, they have all been where you are. Follow instructions and take advantage of the bonuses.

‘The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight but they while there companions slept, were toiling upwards in the night’

-Sir Winston Churchill.

I enrolled in this program in the beginning of the year with big dreams, however I did not stay focused, because I really didn’t believe in my passion or myself. Therefore I could not really focus on my long-term goals. I was just going along. Other things and people were more important.

My brother passed away in September, he was only 40 years old. But, when I looked at all he had accomplished for himself in such a short time on earth, I started questioning myself. I soon realized how many unfinished tasks I had. I started listening to the prosperity based living CD’s, and went back to every coaching session I had with Jan. I am reading the manual and staying focused on my path.

The best tip I can give others and myself is “It’s my passion, my path, I have to believe and follow through”.

Brimstone recipes.

Growing up on the Caribbean island of St.Kitts, food, family and fun times were fundamental. It came with the territory. Wherever two or three gathered, whether it was waiting on the sea shores for the local fishermen to bring in their daily catch or queued at the water pipes collecting buckets of ‘precious’ liquid to be stored in our small but cozy houses, food and family were always on our lips.

I remember an old neighbor of mine swatting beside a coal pot fanning a fire that would serve as both his stove and maybe even an oven. I remember the pungent smell of fresh herbs and spices early Sunday mornings riding the occasional crisp island breeze.

Cooking for me was always a pleasure, always such a passion. To this day I can’t pass a farmers market without thinking about my childhood.

Brimstone Recipes is just simply a representation of myself. It’s a portrait of my upbringing, and what I represent. It is just recipes that were taught to me by aunt and old folks in my community, and a few of my own that have ‘evolved’ into family favorites. I take pride in cooking for family and close friends and felt compelled to share my ‘wealth’ with others.

Great quick and easy Caribbean dishes are just a click away. Visit my website at brimstonerecipes.com and come visit the islands in my kitchen and yours.

What are you passionate about? For me it’s cooking. Find your inner strength and go for it. I did, and I am now on my way to fulfilling my dreams.

Jennifer E. From Clarksville, TN

Our July Student of The Month Contest Winner

1) Tip:  The best advise I have received so far with the CMPS is to read Joshua Shafran’s 2 Comma Club newsletter.  I really do look forward to reading this!!  The section that really hooks me every time, is the “Bridging the Gap” section.  This is so important to me because it helps me understand the way I think and how my past thinking system has unknowingly kept me in the dark and broke.

I really believe this is the key to any success in life.  In The first issue I received: The 2Comma Club Letter 1, the “Bridging The Gap” article was about bridging my practical/organized, “work hard” (let’s make a list and cross off the tasks as I go) side, with my creative, flighty side.  I followed the recommendation on “how to” bridge the gap and was able to piece together my wants and what my true past beliefs.

When I did this, I made two columns down a piece of paper and on one side I wrote “What Do I Believe” and on the other I wrote “WHY?”. Then I went down and listed the things I believe in such as “I deserve to be wealthy, I deserve recognition for my work, I am a hard worker.”  That got my honest, creative juices rolling. I came up with some beliefs that are not as optimistic such as “When I start making money, I will consider myself smart”…then “I am not smart, therefore, I don’t deserve to earn money”, and “If, I am working hard, I am not working smart.”  It was pretty enlightening and scary to realize these were my true beliefs.

Then for each of these beliefs, I wrote down the corresponding reason ”why” for each.  The first couple reasons (deserve to be wealthy/recognition) I wrote “because I am a hard worker” and “I take my time and learn to apply myself”, “Because I have follow through”, “I need to prove I can do it”, “I need to be a good person”, “I need to be able to give back”, and “I need to be a good role model to my kids”. For the beliefs (“I’m not smart, therefore I really don’t deserve to be wealthy” and “If I am working hard, I’m not working smart”), my explanation was because I chose to adopt these beliefs from my father.  I hadn’t made the connection before now!!

It may not make sense and that is exactly where the gap is…  the disconnect between what I want my beliefs to be and the true beliefs I carry.  I realized that my belief system was, “In order to be wealthy I have to work hard, if I work hard, I am not working smart and therefore I am not smart, and If I am not smart I do not deserve to be wealthy”.  Wow, talk about self destruction and self-fulfilling prophecy!  My dissection of this contradictory belief system helped me to understand my underlying block.  The one keeping me from realizing my goals.

This may sound rather simple but it took some times and soul searching.  I needed to be truly honest with myself to identify what my beliefs really were. Now I can really work on changing my core beliefs and I have implemented ways to do just that.  I have made the conscious decision to view things differently.

So, because the newsletter in addition to the bonus article “The Science Of Getting Rich” have been life transforming to me, this would be the first tip I would recommend to anyone  read and do a little self soul searching!!

2) My vision in the next few years:  I want to earn enough income to send my children to the school I want them to go to ($14 K/year) and pay off our house.  After accomplishing those two goals I want to fulfill my promise to my 4 year old and travel to China.  (For some unknown reason my daughter is fascinated with China and I want to reinforce that curiosity and enthusiasm).  I want to be able to really give back to the organizations I love and want to support not only with my time but monetarily too.  I think about how many more opportunities and freedom I would have and what it would be like to give really “give” to others.  And that is what really excites me.

So, I want to start a company that offer tools to elevate people from their basic needs (such as food, water, and shelter) to self actualization where they want to contribute to society in a green, environmentally friendly way.  This would reach across all cultures and continents.  I have a lot of ideas brewing and I need to do the next recommendation outlined in the 2 Comma Club Newsletter to gain further focus and direction!!  (I have already purchased my white board!)

Linda G. From Souderton, PA

Our May/June Student of The Month Contest Winner

Linda’s TIP:

My tips to share are no matter what the obstacle may be find away around it.  In other words you have got to look outside of the box.  When a door closes a window opens for you to find what you are looking for.

I have applied for many affiliate programs that I have been rejected from but I don’t let it get me down.  It keeps me motivated to look harder and I figure it is there loss not mine.  There are better and bigger things waiting for me.

My vision that I would like to get from this program is to be able to show others what I have learned first off. My second thing is I’m in the process of writing an ebook.  My passion is to bake and I’m creating an ebook of recipes that use 7 ingredients or less.

What I would like to accomplish from this is to be able to get my books published and out there on the market in hard back or ebooks maybe even both.  I would love for my husband to retire early so we could fulfill our dreams of traveling abroad with no worries.

My article I’m submitting is entitled Baking Memories.  When you read it put yourself back in time of when you were a child in the kitchen with mom, if you are really good you can see yourself as a child all over againwith the wonders of mom.  Family members who have read this article have told me they had wonderful childhood memories while reading it.  Enjoy

On my postboard I would like to ad this

If you are not a baker don’t worry, with this business you pursue what ever it is that is your passion. Whether it’s floral design, quilting, crafts or sewing you’ll have more time to do the things you LOVE to do.

As a child I would watch as my mother would so pain saintly bake a wonderful treat for our family. She put so much love into all of her baking and you could taste it when you bit into the wonderful treat.

Paying attention to every detail as to the exact measure of the ingredients, adding them one by one to make sure things were creamed together just right, before the next one was added. There was no room for error let alone lumps.

We didn’t have an electric mixer then only a wooden spoon and so every stroke of that spoon had a purpose; to make sure everything was smooth with no lumps. When she’d have all the ingredients mixed together she’d get the pan out of the cupboard. Now my job came. I had to coat the pan with shortening or butter every inch. When that was done, I had to flour the pan.

Now our wonderful batter was ready to go into the pan. Mom would make sure the pan was completely covered evenly before placing the pan in the oven.

I remember watching with eyes wide and the anticipation of getting that first bite. It seemed like forever until that wonderful marvel was out of the oven. Once out of the oven only came to find we had to wait for it to cool down and even then we still couldn’t indulge in our treat because now we had to ice the cake.

Mom would make the icing and again I thought it won’t be long now. It was unheard of icing in a can everything was from scratch. Even when the cake was iced we still had to wait.

We always had company coming over and this special treat was for the entire family to enjoy when we were altogether. When that cake was finally cut I savored that first bite. Why you ask? The first bite was always the best because you could taste the love that went into every morsel.

Long gone are the days of family tradition of baking from scratch now every one goes to the local bakery for their holiday goodies. Everyone but me, I enjoy baking the way my mother used to and it gives me great pride to know my family enjoys everything so much. Even when I take a bite of something I made I can taste the LOVE that went into the creation of my work.
